Raipur: In a landmark move set to transform Chhattisgarh’s digital landscape, technology firm ESDS Software Solution Ltd has proposed an investment of over Rs 600 crore to establish a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence-based data center in Raipur.

During a meeting with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister at Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi, ESDS Chairman Piyush Somani and Vice President Lokesh Sharma presented the proposal and emphasized that the data center would not only fuel the digital transformation of Chhattisgarh but also serve as a critical infrastructure pillar for AI and cloud services across India.

Welcoming the proposal, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said, “This investment will be a landmark in bringing the vision of Digital India to life in Chhattisgarh. The state government will provide every possible support to ensure the timely execution of this project.”

On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh and Investment Commissioner of Chhattisgarh in New Delhi Ritu Sen were also present.

The initiative by ESDS is expected to transform Chhattisgarh into a technology hub, generating high-end employment opportunities for youth and strengthening the state’s IT ecosystem. It marks a significant step toward achieving digital self-reliance and inclusive growth in the region.
