Raipur: Interacting with the media after concluding a meeting with his cabinet minister, CM Bhupesh Baghel slammed the Union budget released today morning. According to him, it is a directionless budget that doesn’t have anything to offer to farmers, women and the youth.
Ahead of Mr Gandhi’s arrival on February 3rd, CM Baghel had held a meeting with his cabinet ministers at his residence office today. In a bid to promote entrepreneurship among the backward classes of the state, the draft proposing the amendment of the Industrial policy of Chhattisgarh State 2019-24 was approved.
Under the amendment, 10 per cent plots in the industrial area will be reserved for OBC sects of the state. Additionally, underscoring the recent surge in the requirement of jute bags, the cabinet also decided to give a special investment incentive package for the “Jute Manufacturing Project”. Encouraging the establishment of large scale industries in the state, a special incentive package for the “Electric Vehicle and Lithium-Ion Batteries Sector” under the revised policy was also announced.
Besides this, it was also announced that Kodo, Kutki and Ragi would be procured at MSP through the Primary Forest Produce Co-operative Society. Kaushalya Matritva Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) and the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club were among the other schemes that
