Raipur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Chhattisgarh soon, and the administration has been put on high alert. The police administration of the capital of Raipur has thought out the protection measures for the Home Minister in detail. At Mayfair Hotel, where Shah will be lodging, security has not been taken lightly; the hotel employs five layers of security. Senior police officers of IG, SP, Additional SP, DSP, and inspectors are supervising HIS security.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, is expected to be in Raipur for three days starting today. They said the administration was doing everything it could to guarantee his security during the visit. Security has also been arranged by deploying more than a thousand police personnel in different parts of the district. Policing has been done densely around the compound, and some domes have been erected as permanent controlling offices. In contrast, aerial policing and scrutiny are conducted using drones and binoculars around the compound.

Police officers cordon off every point in the city, and because of this, it is very hard to notice any weakness in the security measures that have been put in place. Monitoring all the points of view of the city is also part of the security arrangements so as to ensure that any breach is identified and dealt with before it is too late.

Apart from these on-ground security measures, the administration has also ensured that there is tight surveillance in place to monitor the activities around the hotel and other areas where the Home Minister is likely to be taken. This encompasses its watching through closed-circuit television cameras on a round-the-clock basis at strategic points.

The visit is scheduled with the Home Minister, and this is an important one; hence, the administration is doing all it can to ensure that there are no security issues that cause hitches during the visit. With such elaborate arrangements being made, the city of Raipur is ready to welcome the Union Home Minister without any security threats.
