Raipur– The high-level meeting addressing the Naxal issue and inter-state coordination concluded at the police headquarters in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The conference, which included top police officials from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and representatives of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), was to discuss and reinforce coordinated operations against Naxalites. Ritwik Rudra, the Additional Director of the IB, also attended the meeting.
The discussions focused on intensifying joint operations against the Naxal insurgency in the coming months. Notably, officers from various security forces, such as CRPF, BSF, ITBP, and GREY Hounds, along with IG, DIG, and ADG-level officials, were present to contribute their expertise. The meeting specifically addressed Naxal operations before and during the rainy season, considering the unique challenges posed by these circumstances.
DGP Ashok Juneja, ADG ANO Vivekanand Sinha, SIB IG OP Pal, and representatives from the CRPF and BSF in Chhattisgarh actively participated in the productive deliberations. The meeting also saw the presence of officials from the SIB of Telangana, highlighting the collaborative approach multiple states took in combating the Naxal menace.
With a focus on coordinated efforts and information sharing, the meeting aimed to strengthen the collective response to the Naxal insurgency, ensuring better security and stability in the affected regions. The intensified joint operations signify a proactive approach to tackling the Naxal threat, aiming to establish peace and restore normalcy in the affected areas.
