Raipur: 3.5 Lakh people of Chhattisgarh will be given the first instalment of Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana on Republic Day this year. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain has given instructions to organize virtual programs keeping in mind the Corona protocol for distribution of funds. In a meeting with senior officers of the state on Wednesday, the Chief Secretary has asked to prepare a special action plan to provide employment in the production and service sector under the Chhattisgarh Employment Mission.

In the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed the officers to assess the revenue to be received by freeholding the leasehold land of the urban body. In case of profit, further action will be taken in this regard. He directed to draw the first lottery at the earliest for allotment of 65000 houses built under the Affordable Housing Scheme in partnership. He said that this lottery for allotment of houses would be drawn at the state level in Raipur and in all the divisions simultaneously. Regarding regularization of illegal construction, commercialization of land sponsorship of shops operating in residential areas, Additional Chief Secretary Subrata Sahu said that the provisions have been simplified for this work. Along with this, an app has also been started for the purpose of public convenience.

Similarly, the Chief Secretary has given instructions to settle the cases of conversion, demarcation, division, diversion by running a campaign. Jain has also been directed to review the applications related to the complaints received by the long pending police online. Principal Secretary Dr Alok Shukla, Manoj Kumar Pingua, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Rakesh Chaturvedi, Secretary NN Ekka, Alarmel Mangai D, Director Commerce and Industry Anil Tuteja were present in the meeting. In order to start the services in urban areas as home access services, he directed to start the Mitan scheme at the earliest. Jain has asked to fix the time limit for the formation of the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club.
