Raipur: A distressing incident occurred at Raipur railway station as a fire engulfed the Garibrath Express train, which was scheduled to travel from Raipur to Lucknow. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire outbreak was triggered by a short circuit within the train. The railway authorities took swift action to take the passengers out safely.

Immediately following the incident, the authorities efficiently organised the evacuation process, successfully rescuing all passengers from the affected coach. As a precautionary measure, the passengers were promptly relocated to another coach to assuring their safety. Now they are focusing on ensuring that no other coach catches fire through the G-4 coach.

As investigations into the cause of the short circuit and subsequent fire commence, authorities must identify any lapses in maintenance or electrical systems to prevent such incidents. The safety of passengers remains a top priority, and the railway authorities will likely undertake thorough measures to prevent similar occurrences and enhance the overall safety standards of the railways.
