Raipur: Rajiv Gandhi’s itinerary for his visit to Chhattisgarh is released. According to the information received by the sources, Gandhi would land in Raipur at 12 noon.
Senior officials from the party, along with CM Baghel would receive the former president at the airport on the 3rd of February.His first stop during his visit will be the Science College Ground in Raipur where he will launch the Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyaya Yojana. CM Baghel during the leaders presence would release the first instalment of the scheme. Following this he would lay the foundation stone of the Amar Jwan Jyoti.
Speculations also make rounds that Gandhi would be convening would have an informal meeting with the Baghel’s. Following which he would depart to Delhi in the afternoon.Notices instructing the parking arrangement and vehicular movement in the city during Gandhi’s visit have been issued to heads of respective areas.
