Raipur: And the day when the meritorious students would take their chopper ride is announced. As per an announcement CM Baghel did while addressing a press conference during his constituency-wise public interaction drive at Rajpur in Balrampur district in May, toppers of class 10 and 12 will be given a helicopter ride on October 9th.
The administration dept has organized a program for the same at CM Baghel residence. On the same day, Baghel will also handover the laptops and the cash reward of Rs 1.50 lakh. The students have been instructed to submit a permission letter duly signed by their parents the window for the submission of which closes today. The requirement of the letter was put forth by the administration considering childrens safety.
“Air travel is something everyone desires. I believe that a helicopter ride will inculcate in the minds of children a desire to fly high in the skies of life and they will sharpen their skills even more to achieve their goal,” the chief minister had said while announcing the rides.
Around 85 toppers from class 10 and 28 from class 12 will be given the ride and awarded the cash prize and the laptop.
