Bilaspur: In the Civil Lines area, a case of fraud of five lakh 23 thousand 525 rupees has come to the fore in the name of construction of house from magistrate and teacher. The magistrate has complained to the Civil Lines police station. On this, the police are investigating the matter by registering a crime. Poonam Naaz Khakha is a teacher living in Nehru Nagar. Her husband Rozmin Rajesh Khakha is the Judicial Magistrate at Ambagarh Chowki. He told in his complaint that he wanted to build a house on his land in Nehru Nagar.
Meanwhile, Shashank Chandradev Mishra, director of Launchyard Construction at Jamnipali in Korba district, came to meet him at his house in Nehru Nagar. He gave the contract to the contractor Shashank for the construction of the house for six lakh 24 thousand 700 rupees. According to the agreement, the construction of the house was to be completed in March 2021. Meanwhile, the teacher and her husband went on duty. Meanwhile, the contractor took five lakh 23 thousand 525 rupees from him, saying that he would construct the house on different dates. When the teacher came to see his house, the construction of the house was not completed.
Reportedly, the contractor had absconded after stopping the work. On this, the teacher contacted the contractor’s office at Jamnipali. The contractor had also closed the office. The teacher traced his address from the employee working in the office. After this, a notice was also sent to his address. Even after this, the contractor is not constructing his house. The teacher has complained to the Civil Lines police station.
