Raipur: Former CG Chief Minister Raman Singh tested positive for COVID-19. The leader of the opposition took to his Twitter handle and informed about his health.
This is for the second time the senior BJP leader has been infected with COVID-19. He had earlier tested positive in September 2020, when the pandemic had just begun.
As per the Ministry of Health and Family welfare, the states’ active count went up to 3,830 after it added 52 fresh active cases. The recuperating tally went up to 11,44,506 adding 458 recoveries in the last 24 hours. The death toll stood at 14,056.
Meanwhile, India on Saturday added 20,279 taking the total infections to 4,38,88,755. The active count stood at 1,52,200 after it added 2,100 fresh cases.
