Raipur: Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel targeted the central government regarding India’s current economy. Attacking the opposition, he said, “Compare India’s debt during former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s tenure with its current debt.” He claimed that the country’s debt before 2014 is now three times higher. The BJP should first assess the state of the economy. He sarcastically said that the BJP is only making arrangements for its friends.
Former CM Baghel hit back at Deputy CM Sao’s statement regarding the performance of Congress district presidents. He said that Arun Sao should review all the promises he made as state president. First, he should see how many he fulfilled and what he failed to deliver. Don’t try to teach the Congress a lesson.
Baghel is going to Punjab
Punjab Congress state in-charge Bhupesh Baghel will arrive in Chandigarh today. Regarding his visit, he informed that he will attend a meeting of the State Congress Committee in Chandigarh. A fight will be launched against the government on issues such as the Save MNREGA Mahasangram and the US tariffs.
