Bilaspur: A massive fire broke out at the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Science. According to officials, there is a major stir in the TB block that is suspected to be affected the most. Hospital authorities have been shifting patients from the ward to a safer location, sources said.
Fire personnel and police have been informed and are on the spot trying to control the panic and extinguish the fire. Visuals of a portion of the building ablaze have been surfacing. However, no proper information on the breakout has been revealed.
So far, no causalities have been reported, while the hospital and the police try to evacuate all patients from the affected portion of the hospital.
CIMS was established in 2002 and is affiliated with Guru Ghasidas University.
