Raipur: In a development, Renuka Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate, for the Bharatpur Sonhat constituency and a Central Minister has been charged with an FIR for not responding to notices issued by the Election Commission. A complaint has been lodged against her at the Sonhat police station under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for violating the Model Code of Conduct.
This legal action is the development in a series of notices sent to Renuka Singh by the Election Commission.
