Chhattisgarh: A 13-year-old minor boy committed suicide after not getting a mobile in the Mansi police station area of Sakti district. His dead body was found hanging from the noose in the room of the Government Secondary School of Sulauni village, where he studied. Police reached the spot, took the dead body in their possession, and sent it for postmortem and further action is being taken.
ASP Gayatri Singh said that Aditya Shrivas, a 13-year-old minor student studying in class VIII, who is a resident of Sukalipali, has committed suicide in the school itself. Shanti Shriwas, the father of the deceased told that on December 26, he was insisting on buying a mobile. The father says that he had talked about buying the mobile after getting the wage money. On which he got angry. He had left the house at 12 noon on Monday. When he did not return home even till late evening, a search was started for him, but he was not found. The relatives thought that he must have gone to see a nearby fair and would come by night.
Meanwhile, the Christmas holidays were going on in the school as well. When the boy did not return home even till late at night on 26th December, instead of registering a missing report at the police station, the relatives kept searching for the child at their own level. When the peon opened the door and went inside when the school opened on December 29, he heard the sound of a fan running in the room. After this, an attempt was made to open the door, but it was found locked from the inside. When he peeped into the classroom from the rear window, the body of the child was found hanging from the noose.
On getting the information, the police and family members reached the spot. The dead body was identified as Aditya Shrivas. The postmortem of the child’s body has been done. Doctors have told the dead body to be 4 days old. At the same time, despite the closure of the school, how the child entered the school is also being investigated. However, the police have expressed apprehension that the rod of the window behind the classroom in which the student hanged was open from the middle. That is how he must have entered the room. Further investigations are on in the case.
