Balakrishna Shivram Moonje known as BS Moonje, born in a Desashta Rigedi Brahmin family in Bilaspur. According to Baghel Moonje after his visit to Italy in 1931 endorsed nationalism in India.

A week ago, Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has decided to increase the number of seats to 50 in government run English medium Swami Atmanand Schools across the state. An official communication said that at present 171 English medium schools are functioning in the state with 74,000 students. A total of three such English schools have opened in the capital city.
SWAEMS were established as chain of schools by Department of School Education, Government of Chhattisgarh in 2020.
The children in these schools are from economically weak families. The government bears the entire cost of fees, books and uniforms.The buildings of the earmarked schools have been refurbished and the schools are transformed not only qualitatively but aesthetically too this year.
