Ramanujganj. Ramanujganj police has arrested the accused who was absconding for a long time in the case of embezzlement in Bharat Finance Company. The accused had embezzled Rs 37 lakh 99 thousand while working in the company and was hiding at different places for the last one year.
According to the information, Surendra Das (24 years), working in Bharat Finance Inclusion Limited, along with his colleagues, embezzled the money received by the customers from the bank and the deposits and spent it for their personal use. In this case, a case was registered in Ramanujganj police station under sections 409 and 34.
During the investigation in the case, the police had already arrested three other accomplices of accused Surendra. Surendra Das, who is a resident of Anchala Majhapara village of Lakhanpur police station area of Surguja district, was absconding for a long time. Police received information about Surendra’s presence from an informer, on the basis of which he was arrested. Police took legal action against Surendra and presented him in the court of Ramanujganj, from where he was sent to jail.
