The excitement regarding Lok Sabha elections has intensified in the state as the name of former CM Bhupesh Baghel emerging from Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha seat, the election temperature is continuously rising in the district. Activities regarding publicity have also intensified. In this series, on Sunday, former CM Bhupesh Baghel is going to formally start the Lok Sabha election campaign by visiting Mata Bamleshwari in Dongargarh.
The former CM will have darshan of Mata Bamleshwari today at 4 pm. Apart from this, we will also visit Gurudwara, Buddha Vihar, Chandragiri Tirtha and Rawati Pahad located in Dongargarh. Along with this he will meet the workers.
Now Congress Party has announced its candidates for 6 out of 11 Lok Sabha seats. In which former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has been made the candidate from Rajnandgaon seat. After making him a candidate, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the workers of Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha. On the day the ticket was announced, workers in the district burst fireworks. Due to which it is believed that Congress’s decision to make Bhupesh Baghel the candidate from Rajnandgaon has brought new energy to the party.
Apart from Rajnandgaon, Congress has fielded former Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu from Mahasamund, Shiv Kumar Dahria from Janjgir-Champa, Rajendra Sahu from Durg, current MP Jyotsna Mahant (repeat) from Korba and Vikas Upadhyay from Raipur.
Before Congress, BJP had already declared its candidates. BJP had finalized names on all 11 seats in its first list. Out of these, now Bhupesh Baghel will face competition from MP Santosh Pandey in Rajnandgaon . In Raipur , Vikas Upadhyay will face veteran BJP leader and minister Brijmohan Aggarwal. Apart from this, there will be a contest between Jyotsna Mahant and BJP’s National Vice President Saroj Pandey in Korba seat. Apart from this, Rajendra Sahu is going to face MP Vijay Baghel in Durg . Whereas in Janjgir Champa, Kamlesh Jangde of BJP is facing former minister Shiv Dahria. Also in Mahasamund , BJP’s Roop Kumari Chaudhary is in the fray against former minister Tamradhwaj Sahu.
