Raipur: The District Industrial Cooperative Development Committee Raipur announced notification for the recruitment of unemployed educated persons of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe under Antyodaya Swarojgar Yojana and Adivasi Swarojgar Yojana. The goal of this scheme by the District Committee is to enhance the economic status of small business persons through providing funds through banks.

Some of the businesses that applicants can apply to include bakery, food preparation, snack shops, coaching classes, self-help groups accounting, hair-cutting salons, beauty parlours, tea stalls, breakfast centres, yoga education, childcare (creche), laundry services, clock repair, electrical appliance repair, scooter and motorcycle repair, home decor, gardening, nursery management, livestock farming including goat and poultry farming, flashlight vending, spice industry, soft toys, artificial jewellery.

Candidates applying should be in the age group of 18 to 50 years and should attach a photocopy of an Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card and Passbook issued by any Nationalized Bank with the Application Form.

The planning officer of the committee stated for the scheme, the eligible applicant can avail of the grant, which includes fifty percentages or up to ten thousand rupees for the part of the grant, but there is no maximum and minimum specified for the loan. Details about how to apply can be obtained from the Collector’s Office Complex, District Industrial Cooperative Development Committee, Room No. 34, Raipur District, and such application forms have to be duly filled out and returned.
