Raipur: Arun Sao, Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, is scheduled to visit the Gariaband district today. According to utterance of the schedule, Deputy CM Arun Sao will also open an HDFC Bank at Nawabodh Tower in Shankar Nagar, Raipur, at 12:30 PM.
The inauguration will be followed by his proceeding to Gariaband district at 1:00 PM. At 2:30 PM, he will preside over a felicitation function wherein Kopra village will be bestowed with the Nagar Panchayat status. Following this ceremony, Deputy CM Sao will proceed to Naya Raipur, departing from Kopra at 3:30 PM. At 5:00 PM, he is expected to visit the Mahanadi Bhavan situated in the civil construction of Naya Raipur.
Health Minister on Bijapur Tour
Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal is slated to tour the Bijapur district on Monday. This small and strategic district will be covered throughout by Minister Jaiswal for the identification of existing healthcare facilities as well as examining the measures taken to address the conditions associated with the summer and water sickness.
He will also go around the District Hospital and meet the students in Pota Cabin hostel which has many students down with malaria. Subsequently, Health Minister Jaiswal, addressing an increasing number of such cases, will be seen in all Bastar’s health ministers and directors, including CMHO, CS and DPM of Bijapur district at Bijapur District Panchayat Auditorium. Other stakeholders in the meeting include the former Minister of the Ministry of Health, Dr Mahesh Gagda, the Additional Chief Secretary for Health, Manoj Pingua and the director of Health, Rituraj Raghuvanshi.
Raipur MP’s Schedule
Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal will be in Abhanpur and Arang today. At Abhanpur, he will join the Tree Plantation Drive at the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee Campus. Subsequently, he will be handed over to the media to cover what he terms a ‘voter gratitude ceremony’ in Abhanpur. He is expected to attend the school admission festival at Arundhati Devi Government Higher Secondary School In Arang by 3:00 PM.
