The Labour Department has declared that the deadline on which to apply under the Chief Minister Nounihal Scholarship Assistance Scheme is December 31. The department has made it clear that applications that are received after this date will not be considered at all.
The Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board that is under the Labour Department is the scheme being put in place. It is directed to grant financial aids to the education of children of registered construction workers and other qualified labourers. The state government, through this initiative, aims at facilitating the academic advancement of children of workers and alleviating the financial cost on labour families.
According to the scheme, children of registered workers who are on their studies are now being accepted online. Registered labourers whose children are already registered in schools, colleges, or other learning institutions and have not applied yet are advised to ensure that they do so at the earliest time possible to beat the deadline.
The applications have various convenient methods in which the applicants can send in their forms. These are the Shramev Jayate mobile application, the offices of the Labour Department, the local Labour Resource Centres, or the local Choice Centre. The department has ensured accessibility of these options as this can be accessed with ease by workers both in the urban and rural setups.
The Welfare Board has again pointed out that December 31 is the final deadline against which to have the applications received under the Chief Minister Nounihal Scholarship Assistance Scheme. All applications received after this date will automatically be rejected and they will not be considered in the first place.
It is thus recommended that eligible beneficiaries should ensure their registration is done, collect the necessary papers, and the online application form is filled well ahead of the deadline. The prompt filing will see the deserving students get the financial assistance that is aimed at ensuring that they are not affected in any way and they go on with their education.
