Raipur– A daylight robbery case has come to light in Abhanpur, Raipur, where two robbers snatched a bag from a young woman riding an Activa and fled. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras, and based on the footage, the Abhanpur police are currently searching for the unidentified suspects. This incident raises questions about whether the fear of the police among criminals has diminished.
According to information received, on February 17, three young women were heading towards Bade Urila. Meanwhile, two unknown young men on an Activa approached them at Minimata Chowk. The suspects snatched a bag from one of the young women’s hands and fled the scene. The stolen bag reportedly contained a mobile phone, an Aadhaar card, an ATM card, and other valuables. The entire incident was captured on nearby CCTV cameras.
The victimized young woman lodged a complaint about the incident on February 19 at the Abhanpur police station. In response, the Abhanpur police, along with the Cyber Cell’s joint team, are actively engaged in the search for the unidentified culprits.
