Raipur, Chhattisgarh: The date of registration and mistake correction in medical counseling in Chhattisgarh has been extended. Now the counseling process can continue till the evening of 28th October. The order was issued after the meeting of the counseling committee chaired by Health secretary R. Prasanna. Under this process, registration is being done for admission to MD, MS, MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and BPT courses.
The officials said some students had asked for the edit option to rectify the mistakes made while applying. In the counseling committee meeting, it was decided that some mistakes made in the application would be given a chance to be edited, and corrected which the students would be able to rectify. For this, the updation in the software will be done by Tuesday evening. Due to this, the last date of registration has been extended till October 28, 6.30 pm. A grievance redressal cell has also been set up in the Directorate of Medical Education.
In this cell, Dr. Pravin Banjare ( [email protected] ) will resolve the complaints related to the counseling process, and Dr. Arvind Neral ( [email protected] ) will solve issues related to admission in private medical colleges. Another helpline number, 104 will also be started from October 28 for guidance on various doubts of students. After October 27, the fees of all private medical colleges will be displayed on the website of the department. The admission process for BPT will also be done through online software.
