Dantewada District Forces and DRG Personnel Arrest Naxal Handa Karra- Commander-in-Chief

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh, Dantewada District Forces and DRG Personnel arrested Handa Karra Madvi, a resident of Dongripada Jiakorta. 

Handa ‎‎is a Member of the ‎‎Maoist Organization Katekalyan Area Committee and Commander-in-Chief of the Area Militia.‎ 

It is reported that Handa has been a part of the Maoist organization for 18 years. The police officials had declared a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh 10 Thousand on the arrested Naxalite. 

Handa has reportedly committed several crimes in the forest of Jiakorta. He has been accused of committing murders whose complaints have been registered in Kuakonda and Katekalyan police stations.‎

Currently, Handa is taken into custody on judicial remand. 

In the meanwhile, Naxalites in Chhattisgarh are celebrating Martyrdom week in the Bastar region from today until 3 August.
