Raipur: CG chief minister Bhupesh Baghel got a precautionary dose for COVID-19 administrated on Monday at his residence.

Underscoring the threat from the unprecedented fourth wave, Baghel appealed all to follow COVID norms and not drop their guards against the expeditiously mutating virus.

According to the State health department, 3 active infections have been reported in the past 24 hours taking the cumulative count to 38. With nearly 3 recoveries the total recuperations reached 1138202. The death toll stood stagnant at 14,034.

States like New Delhi, Harayana and Maharashtra have reported a sudden uptick in the infections raising an alert.
