Raipur: On the declaration of cow dung to be sold at Rs.5/kilo by the central Minister of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that it is like cow dung spattered on the face of those who were raising questions regarding the matter.

Baghel was targeting Ajay Chandrakar through his statement. While heading towards Shirdi, the Chhattisgarh CM addressed the media persons saying he can’t remark like Ajay Chandrakar who even suggested to make cow dung a political symbol.

Notably, when the Chhattisgarh government started to purchase cow dung at Rs.2/kilo, BJP leader Ajay Chandrakar suggested making cow dung a political symbol. CM Baghel has remarked on his suggestion. Ajay Chandrakar, on the other hand, has not given any reaction to the chief minister’s remark as of yet.

It is also noteworthy that the central government has already launched natural paint made of cow dung. Giriraj Kishor, on the occasion of the launching event, taunted Chhattisgarh, saying – “I wouldn’t take anyone’s name but a government has been advertising their state by buying cow dung at Rs.2/kilo. But now the farmers will be immensely helped as the Centre will buy their cow dung at Rs.5/kilo.”

Gadkari did not give any reaction to this, but he promised that soon the government will buy cow dung at Rs.10/kilo from the farmers. The eco-friendly cow dung paint has been launched for rural and khadi industries.
