New Delhi: To bring an end to the deadly pandemic condition in the country, the PM Modi-led Govt has announced the dispersion of over 10 lakh vaccine doses to the states and union territories in the next 3 days. Under his ‘liberalized’ policy, PM Modi wants each Indian above 18 years of age to be vaccinated as the third phase began on May 1 this year. The centre has a stock of over 90 lakh vaccine doses as of now.

With daily corona-positive cases crossing the 3 lakh mark for more than 15 days now, it is indeed a scary condition in the country. Help from various countries in the world is coming in the way of India as we fight the second wave. Lack of oxygen and immediate medical facilities have made the condition worse. By now, the centre has dispersed almost 17.35 crore covid vaccine doses free of cost.

A prediction of the 3rd and 4th waves of the virus is on for the next few months. And if this happens, we must be well prepared for it from now onwards. Though no decision of implementing a complete lockdown has been hinted at by the PM yet, the idea cannot be entirely ruled out if the situation keeps worsening like this.
