DURG-BHILAI: CG Police on Sunday arrested a couple for allegedly posing indecently in public. A video from Durg has reportedly gone viral on the Internet. In the video, a couple is seen hugging and indulging in ‘indecent activities’ while riding a bike.
The police taking cognizance of the video initiated an action leading to the arrest of the duo. Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Pallav said: “A video of a couple who were driving recklessly and doing obscene scenes went viral. The Police took cognizance of it and registered a case. Both of them have been arrested.”
Investigation revealed the bike the couple was riding was stolen as they couldn’t produce any valid documents related to the bike. The bike did not have a registration number plate also. Probe further revealed that the bike was stolen from a village a year ago and was being used since then without an RTC registration. It is learned that the bike worth Rs 1.50 Lakh was brought by the accused for Rs 9000 without any documents.
