Raipur: Chhattisgarh once again recorded the highest ever spurt in cases. As many as 3,336 cases were reported in a single day, taking the total tally to 67,327.
Meanwhile, 954 patients were recovered in a single day. With this, the number of recovered people reached to 33,109 in the state.
On Monday, Chhattisgarh recorded 18 deaths, which includes 11 co-mordibity deaths. Bilaspur exceeded Raipur in daily deaths, while the former recorded 8 deaths, the latter has reported 7 deaths in a single day.
The death toll due to the pandemic mounted to 573. The active cases in the state has now accounts for 50 percent with 33,645 caseloads.
All the 28 districts have reported atleast 4 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The Capital, Raipur, which is the worst affected district due to pandemic has reported 764 cases followed by Durg (424), Rajnandgaon ( 327) and Bilaspur ( 308).

In just 30 days, Chhattisgarh, which was in 21st place on 10 August, has recorded alarming numbers, with active cases increasing by 694% and deaths by 311%.
