INDIA: The country is going through a crisis situation these days. People are facing a lot of problems due to the lockdown. But some local vendors are in the habit of taking advantage of it.

Even after repeated warnings, vendors are not taking it seriously. After receiving continuous complaints from people, the department has conducted a raid in 102 local shops in the capital Raipur.

During the lockdown, constant efforts are being made to provide necessary daily items and goods to the citizens according to their requirements at the right price.

Food Minister Amarjeet Bhagat has instructed the officers of the Department to carry out continuous testing of the materials and its prices in the shops of the state. And he also ordered  to take strict action against the institutions who is not following government guidelines.

Officials of the Department of Food and Civil supplies disclose that on 11 April, 102 small and big business institutions of the capital were investigated by the department. During investigation, a case has been registered against an institution located in Santoshi Nagar.
