Raipur, Chhattisgarh: As the global coronavirus pandemic is worsening with every passing day, fear is swelling in across India and the medical workers including doctors and nurses are bearing the brunt of public panic.

Such an incident of social stigma has come to the fore in Chhatisgarh capital Raipur where one nurse asked to vacate their rented house by the landlord. This nurse has been providing relentless service to control the spread of coronavirus in the corona cell.

This incident happened near the Khamahdih Electricity Office, where the landlord Keshav Sahu asked nurse Rameshwar Sahu to vacant the house before 30th march just because she is working on corona cell. Lalluram.com team has a video record of this entire incident.

Rameshwari Sahu told media people that this was not a first when her landlord asked her to vacant the house. Even before he tried to get me out of the house but at that time, social workers and khamadih police department warned him and resolve the matter. After that he started troubling me in different ways like sometimes he cut the connection of electricity and water, sometimes he starts to enquire about room rent and hospital matter. She also told that the landlords are advising her to stay in the hospital for some days or else stay with her families. Otherwise, vacate the house.
