Chhattisgarh: Havoc of Coronavirus is increasing rapidly across the state. Three more persons have tested positive for coronavirus in Chhattisgarh, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 33, officials said on Tuesday. This all three cases are directly related to hot-spot katghora. At the same time, there is also good news that after reports of three patients coming negative they have been discharged from AIIMS.
According to the WHO report, Globally, a total 17,730,84 people have been infected by this pandemic and 1,116,52 have been died so far. Currently, 32 states and union territories are affected by Coronavirus infection in India, out of which 10,815 cases have been confirmed and a total of 353 people died of the disease.
In context of Chhattisgarh, a total of 4821 probable infected individuals have been identified and sample have been collected, out of which 4319 results were found negative and 469 are still under process. On Tuesday, 2 patients of Katghora have been found positive, thus the total number of positive patients in the state has increased to 33. At the same time, It has been reported that 3 patients have been cured and discharged from AIIMS,Raipur.
Currently, a total of 20 patients are under treatment in AIIMS, Raipur. While at present 75837 foreign return and corona suspected people are kept under home Quarantine.
In a recent medical bulletin issued by the Health Department, it has been stated that the health information of the persons kept in the Home quarantine, returned from other states or a foreign country, is being taken regular basis. And strictly instructed has given to all the people who are kept under home quarantine to strictly follow the guidelines issued by govt. All the residents of the state are also requested to strictly follow the lockdown.
