Raipur: Chhattisgarh has recorded 9 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. After reporting more than 30 cases from past few days, Chhattisgarh witnessed a decline in the number of daily count. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state has increased to 558. As many as 2 people have died in the state due to Covid-19 infection.
Of the 9 fresh cases, 3 cases each has been reported from Korba, Balod and Balodabazar
Currently, in Chhattisgarh, a total of 23 district have been affected by the pandemic outbreak and 16 out of 28 districts are under red zone.
Today, 9 people have been cured, taking the total number of people recovered from the disease to 130.
Out of 427 active cases, 113 patients are undergoing treatment in AIIMS, Raipur, 72 patients at covid hospital mana, 61 patients at covid hospital bilaspur , 64 at medical college Ambikapur, 28 at Covid hospital raigarh patients , 41 at medical college rajnandgaon, 18 patients are being treated in Jadgalpur medical college,19 are at ISI Covid hospital Korba, 4 people have been admitted to Shri Shankracharya Junvani, Durg.
At present, 2,16,862 people are kept in 19,326 quarantine centres, while 52,325 are under home quarantine as a precautionary measures.
