Corona Breaking: Chhattisgarh reported 14 new cases; total tally crosses 300 mark in the state

Chhattisgarh: On Tuesday, Chhattisgarh crossed the mark of 300 with 14 new coronavirus confirmed cases recorded in the state. From 5 active cases of 14th May to 235 active cases on 26th May, Chhattisgarh witnessing a huge hike in the number of cases.

The total number of covid_19 infected cases reached to 307 including 235 active cases and 72 people have been successfully cured and discharged from the hospital. On a brighter side, No deaths reported till now from the state.

Of the 14 cases that are found today, 12 people are from Rajnandgaon district and 2 from Bemetra district. Notably, on Monday night, one case was found in the district of Raigarh.

Health Department of chhattisgarh took to their twitter handle to inform “Today a total of 14 new corona positive patients have been identified. 12 patients have been found from Rajnandgaon district and 2 from Bemetra. Last night, 1 corona positive patient was identified from Raigarh district. The total number of active patients is 235.”

Meanwhile, The total number of coronavirus cases in India surged to 145,380. On Monday, the total number of COVID-19 deaths rose to 4,167. On the other hand, Coronavirus infected more than 5.3 million people across the globe. The worldwide death toll from COVID-19 infection increased to 342,000.
