Corona breaking: Chhattisgarh records two more new Covid_19 cases; Active cases jumps to 11

Chhattisgarh: The number of COVID-19 active cases in Chhattisgarh reached 11 after two people tested positive for novel coronavirus on Sunday.

Two more corona positive patients have been found in Balod district. With this, 4 Covid_19 infected patients have been registered in the last 72 hours. The number of corona active patients has increased to 11 again in the state, official said.

According to the sources, the two infected patients have been found in Daundi block of Balod district. One patient is from Kokan and the other from Pandardalli. District administration is preparing to send patients to AIIMS. Both Corona positive patients are migrant laborers.

Taking to the twitter handle to confirm this news, Dipanshu kabra, IG, Bilaspur tweeted ” Two more Corona positive patients found in Balod district. Number of active patients rises to 11. In the last 72 hours, 4 patients registered coronavirus positive are from balod. Chhattisgarh now has 11 active cases from : Durg 1, Balod 4, Koriya 1, Janjgir 5.”

So far 69 patients of coronavirus have been found in Chhattisgarh, out of which 58 patients have already been cured and discharged from the hospital. There are 11 active cases in the state with zero fatality count.
