Chhattisgarh: As India is preparing to enter the third phase of Lockdown i.e. Lockdown 3.0, there some shocking news coming from the state Chhattisgarh, where 14 new cases of coronavirus has come to light, taking the total tally of active cases to 21.

According to the sources, 8 patients are from Durg district and remaining are from Kabirdham(kawardha). All the people are laborers and having a travel history from other states. They were kept in quarantine in the respective district. All the preparations have been made to admit them in AIIMS Raipur around midnight.

AIIMS Raipur took to their twitter handle to confirm this news “14 new COVID 19 positive cases in Durg and Kabirdham. 12 are male and 02 are female. Most of them have travel history in other states. They will be admitted in AIIMS Raipur around midnight.” the tweet state.

As per the designated list of red,orange and green zone issued by Ministry of health and family welfare, presently, Durg, kabirdham and surajpur all three districts are under green zone whereas Raipur, which has not registered one single case in 14 days lies in red zone.

Chhattisgarh Health Minister, T.S. Singh Deo released a video, showing concern over the 14 new cases of coronavirus found on Sunday and also urged people of Chhattisgarh to be ready for the battle ahead.

In the video, He said ” I was worried about the people who came back to Chhattisgarh from other states of India, those people are tested positive and that is a matter of concern for us right now.”

” I request to the people of Chhattisgarh that this is the time to keep the spirits up. There is a big struggle ahead of us. We all have to face this challenge together and win the battle against this pandemic.” he further said in the video
