Bhupesh Baghel, Senior Congress leader and CM of Chhattisgarh, attacked former CM Dr Raman for allegedly circulating a fabricated toolkit using the letter head of his party. Shortly after Dr Raman’s issued his statement to the Raipur Civil lines police, news of raid on the Twitter’s Indian counterparts in the national Capital and Gurgaon was reported.
Two Delhi Police teams on Monday evening visited the head office of the microblogging site in a row over Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sambit Patra’s tweet on an alleged “Congress toolkit” being marked as “manipulated media”.
Supporting the tagging of BJP leader Sambit Patra’s tweet, Bhupesh Baghel said,” Twitter has tagged the alleged toolkit shared by Dr Raman Singh as manipulated media now. The Sangh lesson of repeating a lie a thousand times and it becomes the truth won’t work anymore.”
In response to the tweet, Dr Raman countered Twitter on responsiveness towards the Delhi Police Notice despite “evidence against the Covid toolkit”.
BJP Vice president Raman Singh was booked in the toolkit case on charges of forging the letter head of the AICC Research Department and printing creating false and fabricated content.
