Raipur: On Monday, an energy hit the leaders and workers of the Congress in Chhattisgarh, and an economic blockade was carried out across the state in response to the arrest of the son of former Chief Minister of the state, Bhupesh Baghel, by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Party workers also closed highways and main roads in various cities, stopping the movement of goods vehicles, taking two hours. In Raipur, Congress had used a strategy to delegate duties to the leaders in various areas of protests. On the highway, some workers were held up by the stopping of trucks led by city district Congress president Girish Dubey near Magneto Mall, and on the Assembly road in Sakri, Narayan Kurre and Pappu Banjare led demonstrations. At Dilbagh Dhaba, Sakra, MP Chhaya Verma and Anita Yogendra Sharma led the blockade.

In Mohan Dhaba, Abhanpur, Yashwan Sahu, who is a member of the district panchayat, was the leader of the agitation. The block Congress president in Budera Azad Chowk in Kharoora, Saurabh Mishra, led the blockade.

This is where congress leaders and workers in Bilaspur protested along Bilaspur-Raipur NH-130 near Pendridih. The leader of opposition Charandas Mahant, MLA Atal Srivastava and Dilip Lahariya were among those who took part in it.

Congress blocked roads (at four points) in the District of Mahasamund: at Ghodari, Tumgaon, Saraipali near Ghanteshwari Temple (all on NH-53) and at Temri on NH-353.
