Udaipur: CM Bhupesh Baghel attending the three-day Chintin Shivir at Udaipur today strongly put forth the benefits the public availed under the party’s leadership. He illustrated the examples of the Rights-Based Model, Food Security Act, RTE and RTI that have yielded efficient results in Rajasthan and Chattisgarh.
Party President Sonia Gandhi addressing the gathering issued sharp comments against the PM. According to Ms Gandhi, minimum government and maximum governance policy of the PM meant keeping the country in a permanent state of polarization, brutalising minorities and threatening political opponents.
It means using our society’s age-old pluralities to divide us and subverting a carefully nurtured idea of unity and diversity. It means threatening and intimidating political opponents, maligning their reputation, jailing them on flimsy pretexts using investigative agencies,” the Congress chief went on to say.
Over 400 party leaders including Rahul Gandhi Vadra will participate in discussions led by the Congress Chief in the coming days. Plans for the upcoming elections will be laid down during the three day Chintin Shivir in Udaipur.
