Raipur: Amidst the backdrop of the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party finds itself embroiled in turmoil as allegations fly within its ranks, with senior leaders pointing fingers at one another. Once again, Arun Sisodia, a prominent Congress leader, has unleashed a letter bomb, leveling several accusations. Notably, just a few days ago, Sisodia publicly accused discrepancies in the party’s funds, prompting PCSC Chief Deepak Bajaj to issue a notice demanding a response within three days.
In response to the notice, Arun Sisodia has presented a clarification to Pradesh Adhyaksh Deepak Bajaj. The response delves into thirteen crucial points, refuting the allegations while also highlighting concerns about the leak of the letter. Sisodia advocates for the formation of a committee to investigate the alleged financial irregularities and the leakage of the letter.
Furthermore, Sisodia demands restitution from Ramgopal Agrawal and Vinod Varma for damages incurred by the Pradesh Congress Committee. He accuses their company, associated with Varma’s son, of causing losses amounting to INR 5.89 crores to the party. Sisodia had previously called for action against both leaders, emphasizing his commitment to the party’s integrity. He asserts his role as a loyal party member, willing to speak the truth even if it means dissenting within the party’s ranks.
Sisodia’s response to the “reasons to explain” notice underscores the ongoing internal strife within the Congress party. The accusations and counter-accusations between its leaders indicate deeper fissures within the organization. Amidst the political turbulence, the integrity and accountability of its members come under scrutiny, raising questions about the party’s ability to present a united front in the upcoming elections.
