Raipur: The Congress celebrates 3 years of the Bhupesh Baghel government in Chhattisgarh on December 17th. A series of events are to be held to mark the occasion. Crackers were burst and sweets distributed in each district and block headquarters, a communiqué from PCC chief Mohan Markam said. Markam said that Congress workers would take a pledge to extend the public-oriented programmes launched by the Baghel government.

The PCC chief has told all MPs, MLAs, office bearers, frontal organizations, Youth Congress, NSUI, Seva Dal, Panchayat bodies and Women’s Wing to participate in the events. Mohan Markam said that in these three years, the Congress government launched schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Gordhan Nyay Yojana, Narva-Garva-Ghuruwa-Bari.

Along with, farmers’ loans were waived, electricity bills were cut in half, and forest rights were introduced. Similarly, people of every section of the state are getting the benefits of many schemes like the Tendupatta Collector Social Security Scheme, Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic.
