Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on April 23 will participate in two prestigious national-level events on textile and steel industries in Mumbai. The events, which will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, are expected to be a great platform for the Chief Minister to showcase Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy, future investment, and vision for developing infrastructure.
The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) is going to organize the CMAI Fab Show, and CM Sai will attend the same on April 23. It is one of India’s biggest textile industry platforms, and the conclave is attended by production, export, and branding aspects. This will be used by the Chief Minister to communicate the special incentives, facilities, and investment prospects for the textile sector under the new state’s industrial policy. Likewise, a very good possibility exists that important Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed with some of the great companies during this show.
CM Sai will be a special guest at the inaugural ceremony of India Steel 2025 on April 24, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to make an appearance through video conference. In this regard, this was when the Chief Minister would throw light on the infrastructure and innovation strategies with long-term plans, for the steel industry, evolved under the state’s industrial policy.
The meeting will also take place on the same day, CM Sai will directly interact with potential investors in Chhattisgarh in Chhattisgarh Round Table Meeting. The discussion will focus on industrial clusters, logistic support, single window clearance, and the state’s pro-labour policies. Chhattisgarh’s initiative to become the hub for industrial investment and sustainable growth in India is a clear case of its proactive involvement in positioning itself as a favourite destination for foreign investors and other economic growth apprehensions.
