Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is all set to tour all 90 assembly constituencies of the state from May 2nd. This initiative is undertaken by the CM to have direct feedback from the masses about the implementation and impact of government welfare schemes.
The chief minister will meet the citizens, and interact with elected representatives at all levels and representatives of social organizations to seek feedback regarding the development initiatives and implementation of welfare schemes in their respective areas.
Baghel is also expected to make surprise visits to some villages in all the 90 constituencies besides reviewing the basic infrastructure available at schools, health centres and Anganwadi. He would also directly hear the grievances of the people to address them.
Officials said Baghel would also review the implementation of the state’s flagship programmes Narva Garwa, Ghurwa Baadi (NGGB), Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana and Rajiv Gandhi Landless Agri Workers Nyay Yojana.
In view of the recent protest in the tribal areas, particularly in the Bastar region, the chief minister would also reach out to the tribal communities to address their grievances over the Forest Rights Act (FRA), implementation of the PESA Act, collection and processing of forest produce and other issues raised by the tribal community.
