Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will return to the capital Raipur at 9:00 am today. After this he will be on a tour of Kabirdham district.
The Chief Minister will leave for Kabirdham at 1:55 p.m. and attend a private program at Kusumghat there. The local people are enthusiastic about his visit, and it is believed that the Chief Minister can make many new announcements.
Congress has Intensified Preparations for the Urban Body Elections
Congress has intensified its preparations for the upcoming urban body elections in Chhattisgarh. From today, the in-charge secretaries of Congress will hold meetings in different districts of the state. The upcoming election strategies will be discussed in these meetings. Congress co-in-charge Vijay Jangid will take charge of the meeting in Raipur. In these meetings, the party’s preparations, the role of the workers and the work to be done for the upcoming elections will be discussed. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the party workers due to this activism of Congress.
Paddy Procurement Campaign
The campaign to buy paddy at the support price is in full swing in Chhattisgarh. So far 29.22 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased in the state. In lieu of this, Rs 6727.93 crore has been paid to the farmers. So far 6.15 lakh farmers have sold their produce. This campaign started on 14 November 2024 and will run till 31 January 2025. The government says that this year also timely payment to the farmers is being ensured.
