Raipur: Odisha, the neighbouring state of Chhattisgarh, will be on a visiting spree by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today only. CM Sai has been invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new Odisha Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi. The Chief Minister is scheduled to depart for Odisha from Raipur Airport at 10:20 AM. The CM will be sworn in at the Janata Maidan within Bhubaneswar’s state capital. The Head of the Government, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will also deliver his speech at the ceremony where Mohan Charan Majhi will take his oath. CM Sai is expected to return to Raipur after the ceremony at 8:45 P.M.

The Indira Gandhi Agricultural University in Raipur is set to hold a National Mango Festival over the next three days from today. It may start at 4 PM, and the distinguished chief Guest for the National Mango Festival will be Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam. Some other ministers and some of the Legislature members are also likely to grace the occasion. The festival will comprise more than 150 types of mangoes, and there will be a dedicated section for ‘ Chhappan Bhog’, which includes products prepared from mangoes. The mango festival will be set between June 12 and June 14; it is an annual fiesta co-coordinated by the IGKV, Directorate of Horticulture and Field Forestry and the Society Towards Nature.

However, players are facing yet another jolt due to the incessant work taken by the railway administration near the Chakradharpur railway division to obtain a block. For this reason, the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Tata Nagar Express train, which falls between Tata Nagar and Itwari, will remain off railway wheels on Wednesday, June 12. Further, the South Bihar Express, the train running between Ara and Durg, is fully cancelled today on the Rourkela Railway station from Durg Railway station.

Odisha and Chhattisgarh undergo these disturbances as part of the bust day schedule. The administration of the fresh leading minister in Odisha state is a major affair in the political calendar, while the National Mango Festival held in Raipur celebrates the traditions and yields of this fertile land.
