Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai attended the Namo Nav Matdata Sammelan. Addressing the youth, he thanked them for trusting Modi’s guarantee and contributing to the BJP government’s formation. He drew a parallel between monarchy and democracy, emphasizing the power of people’s votes in a democracy. Regarding rice procurement, CM Sai expressed willingness to consider extending the purchase deadline based on farmers’ demands.
Highlighting India’s appeal as an education destination, he lauded PM Modi’s efforts to lead the nation in that direction. He acknowledged PM Modi’s dedication, working 18 hours daily for the nation’s 140 crore citizens. The CM praised the government’s focus on the welfare of the poor, initiatives like building toilets, and respecting women through schemes like “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.” He commended PM Modi for elevating India’s global stature, making the nation a world leader and a symbol of purity.
Speaking on record rice procurement, CM Sai announced that the target of purchasing 1,30,000 metric tons of rice would be achieved by January 31. He assured that if farmers express further demands, the government would consider extending the procurement deadline.
Addressing illegal constructions, CM Sai stated that bulldozing action against those whose houses were being demolished was due to illegal construction. He emphasized that if there were grievances, the court was open for redressal. Responding to controversies surrounding statements made by Dheerendra Shastry about the destruction of the Sabarimala temple, CM Sai clarified that he had not heard such remarks. He stated that they attended Shastry’s program where he spoke against religious conversion and cow slaughter. He emphasized the need to avoid such incidents.
