Prime Minister Modi appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Sai and assured full cooperation of the Central Government in the development of Chhattisgarh.
During his stay in Delhi, the Chief Minister also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence, where the development of the state, Naxal operations and other major issues were discussed. The Chief Minister said that now the face of Bastar is changing, which was once known for guns and landmines, today mobile towers are being erected there, which have become not just a means of communication but a symbol of development and trust.
Chief Minister Sai said that the government has established 64 new forward security camps in the last one and a half years. Not only has the presence of police created a sense of security in the villages around these security posts, but the network has also reached these areas now. The government has so far commissioned a total of 671 mobile towers, out of which 4G service is available in 365 towers. This is not only a technological change, but it is an indication that now the communication revolution has begun in the tribal areas.
The Chief Minister said that now not only are mobile towers being installed in Bastar, but these towers are proof of the fact that the children and youth there are also now connecting to the digital world. Earlier, when children had to go to the city for studies or job preparation, they can now do the same work online in their village through mobile networks. Now the youth of Bastar is also creating their own world with smartphones.
