Raipur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai slams the Congress party through a tweet, claiming that the party has sided with separatists and can’t be counted as a friend of the nation. Specifically, he alleged that Sam Pitroda had been given a post of foreign affairs department of the Congress to fortify anti nationalist forces and that he had been selected for this post.
Pitroda has repeatedly insulted Indian heritage, given misinformation about India on various global forums, and been a part of projects spreading conspiracy to weaken the country: CM Sai. But he said these actions demonstrate a Congress unofficial policy of undermining the country’s interests. The controversy has again become political following yet another statement by Pitroda.
The Chief Minister also levelled a charge that the Congress has been trying to dismiss Pitroda’s remarks as his personal opinion repeatedly. This pattern of explicitly supporting anti-India forces with controversial statements on the grounds that they are the personal views of the politician, followed only to disown them and claim them as personal views later, has conventional duplicitous tactics depicted by him. It was the sort of thing that was as old as a proverb: Let the thief steal and the homeowner stay on his toes.
In fact, he also hinted at the fact that Pitroda’s statements are not mere coincidences but are rather part of a well-planned strategy, as per Congress’ official agreements made with certain foreign powers. He even challenged the party leadership by asking them if they would throw out Pitroda if they truly did not agree with his remarks. He also said that it is evident that the Congress high command is behind these attempts to weaken the country, and if no action is taken against him, it will be obvious that these were orchestrated.
CM Sai strongly condemned the Congress’s stance as being disgraceful, and warned that such activities will not be tolerated.
