Raipur: Currently, the BJP is organizing its membership drive, and the party’s leaders are joining at the grassroots level as ministers and main leaders. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai joined the BJP membership drive at the Kharmadhi booth in Raipur’s Netaji Subhas Ward. To accomplish this goal, CM Sai mobilized four state-level athletes and everyone who visited the booth into the BJP. Even MPs were also present in the meeting, such as former MP Sunil Soni, MLA Purandar Mishra, Councilor Rohit Sahu, Rajeev Agarwal, and general secretary Sanjay Srivastava, along with other leaders and activists.
Organization’s CM Vishnu Dev Sai stressed the importance of this organizational event by informing the whole organization that ‘The grand festival of the organization has started.’ He stressed that the campaign is taking place at the booths, and major leaders only visit these places. Sai also provided his take on the proceedings of enrollment of three prominent athletes with athletic enrollment while the others are required to register online and then undergo a validation process by a committee.
He accused the previous government of not fulfilling any promises among them, saying that even gods were not exempt. As stated by Sai, the Congress party and government have not fulfilled any promises, hence resulting in their dumping out of power in the 2023 assembly elections. He stated that at the moment, the opposition does not have anything meaningful out of their mouth, hence making nonsensical remarks. Regarding the presence of athletes Vinish Phogat and Bajrang Punia in the Congress, when asked what they think about him, CM Sai said that people are free to choose for themselves.
The BJP has been conducting membership drives from time to time, and leaders at the state level are relentlessly striving to improve the party’s support base and connect with the masses.
