Raipur: Today, Chief Minister Vishnudeo Sai will inaugurate the Chitrakoot Mahotsav 2024. Alongside, he will bless 340 newlywed couples in the Chief Minister’s Kanya Vivah program. The event includes the inauguration and ground-breaking ceremony of 643 development projects in the Bastar region, costing over 208.32 crores. The Chitrakoot Mahotsav opening ceremony will feature a poetry symposium, school students’ presentations, folk dance troupes’ performances, and a cultural presentation by the Bliss Dance Troupe.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will also participate in a two-day Climate Change Conclave. This event, hosted in a private hotel in Raipur, will bring together experts and environmentalists from across the country to address the challenges of climate change. Renowned specialists will share vital information and experiences concerning global climate change issues and their adverse effects.
On a political front, the BJP’s Lok Sabha candidates will hold a marathon meeting today, discussing election management and conducting committee meetings. The participation of all ministers in this meeting is crucial. Separate discussions will take place for the media department, social media department, and other management committees.
Furthermore, 850 devotees from Chhattisgarh will embark on a special train to Ayodhya today. As part of the Shri Ram Lala Darshan Yojana, these devotees will have the opportunity to witness the divine presence of Lord Shri Ram. The journey will commence from Platform 7 of Raipur Railway Station at 10:30 AM, flagged off by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Tourism, Culture, Religious Trust, and Religious Affairs Minister Brijmohan Agrawal will also be present. Each traveler will be accompanied by a supervisor from their respective district.
Regarding the weather, there is no significant change expected in the state. The maximum temperatures are anticipated to range from 28 to 36 degrees Celsius. However, cloud cover may occur due to disturbances, and some regions might experience rainfall and drizzle.
