Raipur- In Mahasamund, the Chief Minister openly challenged the deputy leader of the Congress party by asking them to face him with a lathi while demeaning Charan Das’s statements about the Prime Minister as shameful.
Bhupesh Baghel’s nomination meeting in Rajnandgaon is when Charan Das Mahant has offensive statements against PM Modi. He mentioned that only Bhupesh Baghel and Devendra Yadav could be feared by Narendra Modi and break his head with a lathi, which drew his sharp criticism.
Chief Minister Sai complimented Prime Minister Modi for the successful first term and called his sincerity and dedication the government’s key feature in planning welfare for the poor. He suggested a sisterhood in the Valley of Rupkumari Chaudhary. He especially stressed the BJP’s fulfillment of promises, which led to the departure of Congress officials into the dominant BJP team.
The Chief Minister announced that Congress is responsible for bribery in many spheres: coal, booze, sand, and property. He lamented the lagging 18 lakh substandard housing projects patronized by the former party but issued the necessary releases to complete development as arranged when elected.
Although the first nomination event in Mahasamund for the congress had gone on good terms, our ranks lost three of our MPs – Usha Patel, former president of Mahasamund district panchayat, Anita Raote, the former state president of Mahila Congress, and Harbans Singh Dhillon, the former vice president of Mahasamund Nagar Palika, among others.
Spilling Congress members into the BJP leadership underlines an increasing confidence of the Congress party´s leadership and policies. His stance against corruption and the charging of the promises by the Chief Minister was a substantial factor that could lead to increased support for the BJP ahead of the polls.
The meeting was attended by Karnataka BJP president Kiran Singhdesai, Dy. C.M. Arun Singhanoor and other essential party members, and this was a sign of the significance of the event for the development of BJP in the region.
